QVS operates an A2LA accredited calibration laboratory (Certification #1864.01) in Rochester, NY. The accreditation covers the specific calibrations listed on the agreed scope of accreditation.

The QVS calibration lab meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025-2005 (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories). QVS also meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and additional requirements in the field of calibration.

Using the latest calibration equipment, QVS provides quick turnaround times, low uncertainty, and professional and concise “Report of Calibration” for the following calibration and measurement artifacts: precision grids, line scales, reticles (microscope, eye loop, and pocket comparator), Z-axis step gages, Cobra™ step gages, and spheres (diameter).
